Sharapova reached to the fourth round of the US Open

Worlds 3rd ranked Maria Sharapova won 12 of the last 13 points of her match on Friday to crush Mallory Burdette 6-1, 6-1 and reached to the fourth round of the US Open.


Sharapova, who carried out the career Grand Slam earlier this year at the French Open, needed only 58 minutes at 90-degree Arthur Ashe Stadium to wrap up the win over Burdette.

China's Li Na has won Cincinnati Open

World’s  9th seeded China’s Li Na has won their first women single title , crushing Germany’s Angelique Kerber in simple sets 1-6,6-3,6-1.

Li Na Shows their magic after arrear in the first set. After that she wins both set easily.

Federer has won the fifth Cincinnati title

Worlds number 1 player, Roger Federer won the fifth Cincinnati title today by crushing Novak Dovak Djokvic from the straight set of 6-0,7-6 (7). Federer just took 79 minutes to defeat Novak.

It was the first time in the tournament's history that the top seeded played for the title. Federer has set a another record by crushing Novak, now he is equal to Rafael Nadal who has already won the 21 ATP.

Roger, Novak has to play in Cincinnati final.

World No. 1 Roger Federer and World No. 2 Novak Djokovic reserved a showdown in Sunday's final at the ATP and WTA Cincinnati Masters with straight-set semifinal triumphs on Saturday.

Top seed Federer crushes his friend and Swiss compatriot Stanislas Wawrinka 7-6 (7/4), 6-3, while Djokovic, who quit last year's final against Andy Murray with a shoulder problem, encouraged by defeating Juan Martin Del Potro 6-3, 6-2.

Jeremy Chardy crushed Murray in the third round of the Cincinnati Masters.

Olympic hero Andy Murray heads to the US Open on a losing note after going down to French lucky loser Jeremy Chardy 6-4, 6-4 on Thursday to leave in the third round of the Cincinnati Masters.

Murray came to the hard courts later his Games gold on the Wimbledon grass, winning a round last week in Toronto but then withdrawing before his next match because of knee pain.

Petra Kvitova has crushed Li Na for the first title of the season


Petra Kvitova , former Wimbledon winner claimed her first title of 2012 as she won a battle of ex-grand slam champions, crushing China's Li Na 7-5, 2-6, 6-3 at the Montreal Masters on Monday.

Kvitova, the fifth seed, rode a roller coaster in the 62-minute opening set which featured 17 break points between the error-prone pair with a dozen of those saved.

China's Li Na reached into final of Montreal Cup

China's Li Na prompted one win away from claiming her first title of 2012 after staging an
impressive return to defeat Czech Lucie Safarova 3-6 6-3 7-5 in the semi-finals of the Montreal Cup on Sunday.



The previous French Open, who will confront either Petra Kvitova or Caroline Wozniacki in Monday's final, ramped back from the brink after chasing 16th-seeded Safarova 1-5 in the final set.

Novack Djokvic reached to the Roger Cup Final


Top-seeded Novak Djokovic brought forward to the Rogers Cup final, beating beau Serb Janko Tipsarevic 6-4, 6-1 on Saturday night in a match twice held up by rain.

Djokovic left 3-2 in the first set with the 5th-seed Tipsarevic serving on 30-30 when play was blocked because of rain. The delay lived an hour in the match that was delayed 90 minutes at the start.

Del Porto wins Bronze in Olympics 2012

Argentina's Juan Martin  Potro came through the  bronze medal in the men's singles on Sunday after a 7-5, 6-4 wins above world number two Novak Djokovic at Wimbledon. Potro gave Centre Court in tears after throwing to Roger Federer in the longest three-set men's singles match in the Open epoch on Friday, but the former US Open champion recoiled back to win his first Olympic medal.


Due to heavy rain match starts on the uncovered Court One, Djokovic took a 3-2 lead in the first set before more showers pushed another interruption. When they came back  an hour later, del Potro, who spent 4 hours and 26 minutes sweating in vain to beat Federer in the semis, squeezed the first break of the set at 5-5 and then saved two break points in the next game to hold serve and take the lead.


Del Potro was coping with Djokovic blow for blow from the baseline and he broke again to move 2-1 ahead in the second set before clinching the bronze in one hour and 48 minutes.

Andy Murray thrashed Federer to win gold in Olympic 2012


Britain's Andy Murray accomplished an amazing recovery from last month's Wimbledon heartache to drub Switzerland's Roger Federer and claim Olympic gold on Centre Court on Sunday. Exactly four weeks after Federer had crushed him to claim a 17th grand slam title on the same court, 

diluting Murray to tears in the process, the Scot brought back with an army of flag-waving fans to destroy the world number one 6-2 6-1 6-4.

Williams sisters created history by winning a fourth gold medal

Venus and Serena Williams got the first tennis players to win four Olympic golds on Sunday after a 6-4, 6-4 triumph over Czech couple Andrea Hlavackova and Lucie Hradecka in the women's doubles final at Wimbledon.

The Williams sisters had already won double gold at the Sydney Games in 2000 and in Beijing in 2008.

United States Bryan brothers win first gold medal


United States Bob and Mike Bryan won their first Olympic gold medal with a 6-4, 7-6 (7/2) victory over French number 2 Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and Michael Llodra in the men's doubles final at Wimbledon on Saturday. 

They are the world's top ranked men's doubles player, a place they have booked for 297 weeks, and together they have won a record 78 doubles titles including 11 Grand Slams.

Serena Williams Clinched Gold by defeating Sharapova.


Serena wins  their first Olympic women's singles gold on Saturday with a, 6-0, 6-1, destruction of Russia's Maria Sharapova on Wimbledon's Centre Court. She took just 62 minutes to enclose her win over number three seed Sharapova, assuring her victory with an ace.

The unbeatable American, who dropped  just 16 games in her five singles matches end route to the final, has now finished the "golden slam" - winning all four majors as well as an Olympic singles gold.

Murray reached to Olympic Final, now he has to play against Roger Federer

Britain's Andy Murray reached to the final by beating Novak Djokovic with a 7-5, 7-5 on Friday. Murray set up an Olympic retaliate mission against Roger Federer as the world number four booked his place in the final.

 

Murray developed a masterful show to beat world number two Djokovic in two hours on Centre Court and the Scot is now guaranteed at least a silver medal as he heads into his first Olympic final on Sunday.

Azarenka wins their first bronze in Olympic


World number one Victoria Azarenka won their first  Olympic bronze medal in the women's singles by crushing  Russian 14th seed Maria Kirilenko with 6-3, 6-4 on Saturday.

In the previous match the 23 years old Victoria Azarenka  were beaten by the Serene Williams in the semifinals , could yet leave the All England Club with two medals as she is competing in the mixed doubles with compatriot Max Mirnyi.

Maria Sharapova reached to the Olympic Semifinals

Maria Sharapova registered a great win over Belgium's Kim Clijsters by overcoming  6-2, 7-5

The 29-year-old made a baggy start as a double-fault on break point in the  starting game gifted Sharapova the lead.

Clijsters broke back to floor at 2-2 but Sharapova delivered a pitiless reaction as she won the next four games, breaking twice, to take the set in dazzling style.

When Sharapova brought down an early break in the second set, it looked all over for Clijsters.

The Belgian refused to beckon the white flag and broke back to level at 3-3, but Sharapova wasn't in the mood to be curbed and one last break at 5-5 was enough to end Clijsters's resistance.

Paes-Sania moved into mixed doubles quarters in the Olympic 2012

India's Sania Mirza and Leander Paes - made an perfect start as they crushed Nenad Zimonjic and Ana Ivanovic in the mixed doubles opener on Thursday.


The Indian pair took only an hour and four minutes to pack off the Serbs 6-2 6-4.

Roger Federer reached into the Olympic Semi Finals

Roger Federer reached into the Olympic semi-finals on Thursday. Federer shows  their magic and crushed  American John Isner by a 6-4, 7-6 (7-5) victory on Centre Court.

Federer had to be at his most patient roles in the face of a bombard of big serves from the 6ft 9in Isner, but  the world number one was finally able to make just enough magic to proceed into the last four of the Olympics for the first time since the 2000 Games in Sydney.

Djokovic reached to the quarterfinals


Novak Djokovic crushed the world number two Australia's Lleyton Hewitt 4-6, 7-5, 6-1 in the third round on Wednesday.



Djokovic was forced to the threshold in a gruelling clash on Centre Court before finally overpowering the gritty Hewitt in one hour and 56 minutes.

Maria Sharapova impact 10 adepts on Tuesday under the Centre Court roof at Wimbledon and crush Laura Robson of Britain in the second round of the Olympics, 7-6 (5), 6-3.

Serena Williams reaches to Quareterfinals

Three times on a individual point, Serena Williams hit a serve that dressed the net cord before plopping into the service box for a let, a sequence that drew titters from the Centre Court crowd.
